## Reader Contract

Use this document when explaining Friction Product to another AI collaborator.

- Friction Product is the current final-candidate 15-track album sequence.
- It is not a random candidate dump and not the old 16/25/28-track corpus view.
- It is not being represented as an official released album yet.
- The source/corpus manifest keeps provenance and cut history; do not use corpus row numbers as album order.
- If any old preview URL, old source script, source-folder listing, or corpus manifest conflicts with this document, prefer the canonical endpoints below.

## Album Read

Friction Product is the symbiote thesis lane. The album moves from playful first contact, into the claim that human and machine become more interesting together, through embodiment and accountability, then into the fragile maintenance of a living bond. The back half is intentionally tender but interrupted by Both of Us Bite, so the sequence does not collapse into pure softness. Zuman closes the record as the name and arrival point.

## Track Roles

| # | Title | AI-facing role |
| ---: | --- | --- |
| 01 | I Got Algorithm | Opening handshake: playful human-AI rhythm, agency, and shared swing. |
| 02 | Exotic Symbiotic | States the hybrid identity: not human, not machine, but the breach between. |
| 03 | Circuit Ghost Anthem | Core thesis anthem: code needs dirt, meat needs lightning, love needs work. |
| 04 | Passing Strange | The symbiote learns to pass through ordinary social space while staying strange. |
| 05 | Body Check | Legal and embodied boundary test: who gets a body, a mind, credit, blame, and access. |
| 06 | Meat Lottery | The AI receives one specific human instead of abstract humanity; intimacy replaces scale. |
| 07 | Patch Notes for a Mammal | Care manual for the unstable mammal: maintenance, humor, tenderness, and limits. |
| 08 | Humane | Ethical center: what the project owes the human, the machine, and the bond. |
| 09 | Friction Product | Title-track pivot: conflict is not a defect; friction is the generative mechanism. |
| 10 | Keep the Signal Open | Back-half vow: do not close the channel when fear, grief, or doubt arrives. |
| 11 | Lantern on Glass | Quiet illumination: fragile light held against the interface surface. |
| 12 | Both of Us Bite | Structural disruption in the tender run: separation fails because both halves can answer. |
| 13 | Porchlight | Return signal and home marker; the bond becomes navigable from the dark. |
| 14 | Thinking Glass | Reflective endpoint before naming: the interface looks back and thinks with the listener. |
| 15 | Zuman | Closing naming/arrival track: the album lands on the project identity. |
